Join Great Plains Nature Center Naturalists in photography-centered hikes. Learn more about nature and photography and participate in group photo-critiques, field trips across Wichita and Kansas, member-only gallery exhibitions, and more in an encouraging, positive environment. No registration is required for meetings unless otherwise noted (ex: field trips with a bus).
Don't have a fancy camera? No problem! Bring whatever you have, be it ten years old or a cellphone. Soon we will have cameras available for checkout as well.

Types of Meet-ups
General Meetings
9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Meet at the Great Plains Nature Center for anonymous photo critiques and then head out into Chisholm Creek Park to take photos together.
Field Trips
Time Varies, typically 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Meet at field trip location, practice taking photos together.
Gallery Exhibitions
There are two planned exhibitions for photo club members only. Dates TBD.
Photo Club is open to all ages!
Children are welcome (and encouraged!) to come to all meetings, however if they are under 16 they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
