Fall 2026 Field Trip season is September 8th-October 16th. All field trips are completely outdoors. 

ANNOUNCEMENT

Fall 2026 Field Trip season is September 8th-October 16th. Spring 2027 Field Trip season is March-May.

Please note these changes due to building construction:

  • Field Trips are completely outdoors. Each field trip will last approximately 1.5 hours. 
  • Trips are limited to these dates to allow access to the outdoor restrooms. 
  • For safety reasons and lack of access to the building, buses and other transportation must remain on-site for the duration of the field trip. 

Weather Policy: If a field trip is canceled due to the weather, the assigned naturalist will offer an outreach program during the originally scheduled field trip time. If an outreach program is not a suitable option for the group, the field trip will be given priority scheduling during the next field trip season. The Director of Educational programs will contact to coordinate re-scheduling.
