Event Details

Do you ever find yourself wondering about flowers? How about wandering through flowers? Come join our native garden club to get your hands dirty and gain some certainty about all your wildflower needs!
The last Thursday of every month at 6pm we will hold a Wildflower Walk, that will go through the park talking about what’s in bloom and other notable plants and trees. This will give you an opportunity to ask all questions,  learn native plants, and just have fun! We will meet by the large Great Plains Nature Center rock that is in the large parking lot, west of the building at 6pm and depart around 6:05. Bring water, dress to be outdoors, and maybe carry a journal if you feel like taking notes!
In addition to our walks, we will also be doing gardening maintenance.
Every other Thursday we will be meeting at 9am to work on the Native Pollinator Gardens that are home to hundreds of resident pollinators. We may find ourselves planting, weeding, rockwork, watering, raking and more! Our pollinator garden is always needing more plants, rocks, and love!
There will be space for all abilities, skillsets, and gardening experience. All ages. 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. FREE.
